Should work be abolished?

Bob Black believes that most people are unhappy with their jobs. As an alternative to "work," he describes a model of living where
necessary tasks of subsistence are transformed into voluntary play-like activities, as opposed to compulsory labor which primarily serves the interests of commerce and social control, leaving little time for friendship and other meaningful experiences.
